Nordstrom Rack at Coddingtown opens Sept. 30

The long wait is almost over, bargain hunters. The popular outlet is opening Sept. 30 in Santa Rosa.|

Nordstrom Rack will open its Santa Rosa store on Sept. 30 at the Coddingtown shopping center.

The store, near Macy's, will hold an 8 a.m. rally where one customer will receive a $1,000 shopping spree. The doors officially open at 9 a.m.

The 31,000-square-foot outlet will offer items purchased specially for Nordstrom Rack, plus clearance merchandise from Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com.

It will feature apparel, shoes and accessories from brands such as Kate Spade, Hugo Boss, Trina Turk and Vince Camuto. Customers will receive discounts of 30 to 70 percent off retail prices.

The store will be the 14th Nordstrom Rack in Northern California.
