Vintage Wine Estates has won the rights to distribute Clayhouse out of Paso Robles and Buried Cane out of Columbia Valley, both brands developed by Middleton Family Wines out of Washington state.|

Vintage Wine Estates has won the rights to distribute Clayhouse out of Paso Robles and Buried Cane out of Columbia Valley, both brands developed by Middleton Family Wines out of Washington state.

Vintage Wine Estates, based in Santa Rosa, is the 17th largest wine producer in the United Sates, according to Wine Business Monthly. It has been growing its portfolio through strategic acquisitions such as B.R. Cohn Winery as well as Napa's Swanson Vineyards.

“We have been looking to expand our presence in Paso Robles, California and Washington State,” said Pat Roney, president and CEO, in a statement. “Clayhouse is a stellar addition to our current Paso Robles portfolio, and we are thrilled to have Buried Cane as our inaugural Washington State wine.”
