Santa Rosa’s Ygrene Energy Fund on Wednesday announced receiving a new investment of $95 million, bringing its total of public and private investments in the fourth quarter to $329 million.

The latest investment comes from Lightyear Capital, a New York private equity firm that specializes in financial services.

Ygrene also recently completed a $184 million public asset-backed security offering, which it says was the industry’s first AAA-rated for assets linked to Property Assessed Clean Energy, or PACE financing.

Since its inception in 2010, Ygrene has approved more than $1.85 billion for home and business owners to make improvements related to energy efficiency, renewable energy and water conservation.
