Simons and Woodward sells seven Santa Rosa office buildings to Basin Street Properties

The sale will increase Basin Street’s Santa Rosa office portfolio to over 1 million square feet.|

Basin Street Properties of Reno is acquiring seven Santa Rosa office buildings from development and management firm Simons & Woodard of Santa Rosa, the two companies announced Wednesday.

Six of the buildings are located around Stony Point Road, with the seventh at 3333 Mendocino Ave. The sale properties total 337,360 square feet and increase Basin Street’s office portfolio in Santa Rosa to more than 1 million square feet.

“We have always admired Simons & Woodard’s work, and we believe these buildings with their lasting appeal and attractive locations are a great fit,” Basin Street CEO Matt White said in a statement.

The sale comes in a year when Simons & Woodward founder Larry Simons will mark his 80th birthday and his 50th anniversary of architecture and development work in Santa Rosa.
