Anita Maldonado has been appointed the incoming CEO for the Santa Rosa-based anti-poverty agency, California Human Development. She currently serves as the chief operating officer for IMPACT Community Action in Columbus, Ohio. She will join the local agency in April and work for two months with retiring CEO Christopher Paige.

Former Sonoma County Supervisor Efren Carrillo has joined the board of directors for the Center for Climate Protection. He served two terms on the county Board of Supervisors and received a bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley in environmental science and policy.

Steven Klein has been named a partner at Munselle Civil Engineering & Land Surveying in Healdsburg. He joined the firm as the survey department manager in 2015 and has been a licensed land surveyor since 2006.

Daniel Weinzveg, an organizational development consultant in Santa Rosa, has been named to the board of directors of two Bay Area organizations: Los Cien, Sonoma County’s largest Latino leadership organization, and Collaborative Enterprise Exchange, which focuses on “building the capacity” of communities to solve complex problems around the globe.

Windsor Town Councilmember Bruce Okrepkie is the new chairman of Sonoma Clean Power, the default electricity provider for Sonoma County. The agency in June will expand to Mendocino County. As part of the expansion, the board includes two representatives from Mendocino County: Supervisor Dan Hamburg, the power agency’s new vice chair, and Fort Bragg Mayor Lindy Peters.
