Greyhound Lines passengers in Santa Rosa will begin boarding company buses next week at the Downtown Transit Mall.

The company on Wednesday will relocate its operation from Dutton Avenue to the city’s transit mall, which is next to the First Street parking garage between B Street and Santa Rosa Avenue. Greyhound will operate four daily bus schedules to such connections as San Francisco, Ukiah, Willits and Arcata.

Santa Rosa’s CityBus, Sonoma County Transit, Golden Gate Transit and Mendocino Transit Authority stop at the mall. That combination “allows customers to seamlessly connect at one location,” said Ed Van Heel, a Greyhound regional manager of customer experience.

A ticket window will operate at the mall from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends.
