Dr. Tara C. Bartlett has joined the Women’s OB/GYN Medical Group in Santa Rosa for Northern California Medical Associates. An obstetrician and gynecologist, she obtained her medical degree at Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in California and completed her residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan.

Becky Ettinger, Kevin Smart and Britt Cooper have taken new positions at Santa Rosa-based Exchange Bank.

Ettinger is a vice president and commercial loan officer. She joined Exchange Bank in 2010, has 29 years of banking experience, and recently served as vice president and branch manager in Sonoma.

Smart is a vice president and residential mortgage manager. He has 24 years experience in the mortgage industry, recently served as a branch sales manager in Wells Fargo and previously owned his own mortgage brokerage business.

Cooper is vice president and branch manager of the Sonoma branch. He has 30 years of management, business development and community relations experience, most recently as a market manager for Bank of Marin. He previously held manager positions for Exchange Bank in the Windsor and Coddingtown branches from 2002 to 2007.

Kevin Anderson, Ross Markey, Karen Barnes and Jock Gilcrest have been hired by the Center for Climate Protection, a Santa Rosa nonprofit.

Anderson is a program coordinator for the ECO2school program. He has two undergraduate degrees from UC Santa Cruz and a master’s degree from San Jose State.

Markey is a renewable energy analyst. He has spent more than 15 years working with and educating the public about the effective use of technology.

Barnes is a development consultant. She spent over 25 years working in the technology field in Silicon Valley and has been development manager for social services and education organizations.

Gilcrest is an assistant to the executive director. He worked in community health, substance abuse education and life coaching before moving into the climate field.

Robin Sternberg has been named CEO of the Marin Economic Forum, a public-private partnership based in San Rafael. She most recently worked as the senior economic development adviser on the American Jobs Project at UC Berkeley and previously served as executive director of the Governor’s Job Creation Initiative for the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development.

The Oxford Suites Sonoma County–Rohnert Park has opened at 67 Golf Course Drive West in Rohnert Park. The 163-suite hotel will hold its grand opening and ribbon cutting Sept. 26.
