The North Coast wine industry has suffered as a result of the wildfires that have erupted across the region. Here is a list of known properties that have been affected:

Sonoma County

Paradise Ridge Winery, Santa Rosa: All of its buildings were destroyed, but vineyards are intact.

Ancient Oak Cellars, Santa Rosa: House and outbuildings destroyed. Winery located offsite. Vineyards burned, but the extent of damage has not been determined. Case goods not affected.

Gundlach Bundschu Winery, Sonoma: Blocks of vineyards were torched.

Chateau St. Jean, Kenwood: The winery sustained only minor damage to an outbuilding, with cosmetic and landscaping damage.

Hamel Family Wines, Somona: Some charred vines.

Vineyards in Fountaingrove American Viticultural Area: 90 acres destroyed

Napa County

Signorello Estate Winery along the Silverado Trail in Napa: Buildings gutted. Vineyards intact.

Mayacamas Vineyards & Winery, Napa: Tasting room destroyed.

White Rock Vineyards, Napa: Buildings suffered major damage.

Sill Family Vineyards, Napa: Winery destroyed.

Hagafen Cellars, Napa: Crushpad partially burned and some agricultural equipment destroyed.

Jarvis Winery, Napa: Outbuildings destroyed, including estate barn.

Ahh Winery, Napa: Winery and home destroyed. Some cases of wine destroyed.

Vin Roc, Napa: Homes and all buildings destroyed. Winery survived as located inside a wine cave. Case goods are safe as located offsite. Vineyards partially damaged.

The Napa Valley Vintners said that 47 of its member wineries had direct damage “and just a handful experienced significant property loss.” The trade group did not release the names of those wineries.

In addition, the Atlas Peak American Viticultural Area had “extensive damage” to its vineyards, according to Cal Fire.

Mendocino County

Frey Vineyards, Redwood Valley: Its production facility was destroyed.

Backbone Vineyard & Winery. Redwood Valley: Its winery, vineyards and case goods were all destroyed.

Potter Valley suffered damage to at least five vineyard properties totaling about 200 acres.
