HEALDSBURG: Figs and Pigs at Quivira

The Quivira Vineyards’ Figs & Pigs Festival is Sept. 27, and the festivities include a grape stomp, barrel making and a fig tree tour. This is the second year for this fig-themed event that celebrates figs, wine and pork. From noon until 4 p.m., the festival will offer guests a menu rich in home-grown figs, a hog roast and plenty of tasty wine. Treats include Figs with Mendocino Sea Salt and Local Honey, and Quivira Figs and Goat Cheese. Tickets are $50 per person at www.quivirawine.com. For more information, call 431-8333. ST. HELENA: Green certification for Hall Wines

Hall Wines in St. Helena has been awarded the LEED Gold Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. Buildings are certified based on achieving superior performance in the areas like energy efficiency, sustainable site development, water efficiency, and materials selection. This award is the second of its kind for Hall. It was previously recognized as the first winery in California to earn LEED Gold for its fully sustainable production facility in 2009.

SONOMA VALLEY: 15 wineries at Sonoma Valley Crush

Tickets are available for the three-day Sonoma Valley CRUSH event Sept. 26-28. Fifteen wineries throughout the Sonoma Valley will be offering a variety of harvest activities each day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. They include grape sampling in the vineyards, crush pad tours, as well as tasting fresh pressed juice. RUTHERFORD: Graham Nash photos at Mumm Napa

Mumm Napa is showing a free exhibition of autobiographical photographs taken by legendary singer-songwriter Graham Nash. The exhibition, titled “My Life through My Lens,” will run now through January at the winery’s Fine Art Photography Gallery. The exhibition includes pictures of friends such as David Crosby, Jerry Garcia and Johnny Cash, who have been part of his long and influential career. Inspired by his father, Nash began taking pictures at the age of 11. Visitor center and gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Mumm Napa is located at 8445 Silverado Trail, Rutherford. GLEN ELLEN: Sustainability farm fest at Jack London

The Jack London Park Sustainability Farm Festival will be Oct. 5. The free, daylong festival will highlight Jack London’s legacy as a farming pioneer and connect with the innovators of today. It kicks off with Autumn Farm Forum at 11 a.m., presented by Marcy Smothers and Clark Wolf. The festival will be at the Jack London State Historic Park, 2400 London Ranch Road, Glen Ellen.
