Oakland men arrested in Santa Rosa home invasion robbery

Two men from Oakland have been arrested in connection with a home invasion robbery in west Santa Rosa late Thursday night.

Sansom Dekharm, 29, and Sebastian Palmer Lumsey, 26, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.

Santa Rosa Police officers were called to a home in the 3900 block of Golden Gate Avenue in west Santa Rosa at 11:30 p.m. Thursday after a caller said a bloodied man was in the street claiming he had been assaulted in his home.

Officers said they determined two suspects entered the victim's home and demanded drugs and money while one suspect held a knife to the victim's neck. The men are suspected of threatening the victim until he told them where a small amount of marijuana was located as well as other property within the home, police said.

Police said the suspects then tied up the victim and fled.

While officers were interviewing the victim, a description of the suspects was broadcast to surrounding law enforcement agencies and Dekharm and Lumsey were stopped in Sebastopol. The victim was able to identify the suspect as well as some of his property found in the car, according to Santa Rosa police.
