Two young men were arrested Sunday afternoon in Rohnert Park on suspicion of robbing two 13-year-olds of their skateboards and a cellphone.

The two youths were robbed before 3 p.m. at Santa Alicia Park, according to Rohnert Park police. Two robbers with bandanas over their faces had approached the 13-year-olds and demanded property.

An officer arrived at the park and obtained a description of the robbers. Within 15 minutes, he found two young men loitering under a bridge and arrested them.

Taken into custody was Ismael Carmona Lopez, 23, of Rohnert Park, for outstanding warrants and suspicion of robbery, conspiracy, and possession of stolen property. He remained Sunday night in the Sonoma County Jail on $70,000 bail.

Also arrested for robbery and conspiracy was a male juvenile, who was taken to juvenile hall.
