Two women renting the homes were displaced.

Park manager Judy Rivera said they would be provided with other homes in the park, which is for people 55 or older.

Neighbors said the home where the fire started was recently rented to a woman from Lake County, who was not at home at the time.

Park resident Robert Morgan said he ran over from the pool when he saw smoke.

The home was completely ablaze, he said.

Initially he feared the woman's two cats were dead but Basque said they were later found by other residents.

"Everything she owned was right in there," said Morgan, gesturing to the charred mobile home.
