Law enforcement around the county will be kicking off extra patrols looking for drunken drivers this Super Bowl Sunday.
The Sonoma County Avoid the 13 Coalition will be deploying special DUI patrols in communities around the county, said Petaluma Police Sgt. Jim Stephenson in a statement released Wednesday.
"Before choosing to drink, choose a sober designated driver," said Petaluma Police Lt. Tim Lyons. "Avoid the unsportsmanlike conduct of driving drunk by handing off your keys so that you, your passengers and everyone on our roads can safely arrive home."
