The California chapter of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers launched a new brand and elected a new president.

The group, which has 300 members in California and Nevada, will now be called CalASFMRA — Western Ag Professionals.

Nat DiBuduo, president of Allied Grape Growers in Fresno, was elected president of the professional organization. He has served on the CalASFMRA board for five years.

"It is both a personal and professional goal of mine to reach out to farm managers and agricultural consultants throughout our coverage area and to develop educational tools to help them in their careers," DiBuduo said in a statement.
