Six people accused of DUI were caught driving with suspended or revoked licenses when they showed up for court during a sting that Petaluma and Santa Rosa police staged Wednesday, said Petaluma Police Sgt. Jim Stephenson.
Police staked out 15 offenders who had been told by a judge not to drive or whose licenses had been suspened, Stephenson said.
They followed those people from the courtrooms to their vehicles. Six people got behind the wheel and drove away, Stephenson said.
The following people were stopped, arrested on suspiciono of driving on a suspended license and released on a citation to appear in court: Nicholas Aldama, 29, Jeffrey Smith, 39, Nicole Brock, 22, Javier Garnica, 23, all of Santa Rosa; Jamie Clark, 34, of Vallejo, and Timothy Banuet, 27, of Petaluma.
