Christopher Silva, president of St. Francis Winery, has been elected chairman of the Santa Rosa Junior College Wine Studies Advisory Board. The new board is made up of local wine industry leaders and will participate in curriculum, development, hiring of faculty, certificate programs and other issues related to the Wine Studies Program.

Robin Ashford has been named branch manager at the Point Arena branch of Redwood Credit Union. Ashford has more than 20 years of experience in customer service and has worked in financial services for seven years, most recently with Westamerica Bank.

Ryan Cullinen has been hired as project coordinator for Leff Construction in Sebastopol. He previously was an independent general contractor working on projects ranging from barn renovations to custom homes.

The Santa Rosa Salvation Army recently selected Wayne Rowlands to lead its advisory board. Rowlands replaces Kathleen Archer, whose term ended in February.

Denise Lyon was recently elected to serve on the board of directors of LifeWorks of Sonoma County. Lyon, a branch manager for Umpqua Bank in Petaluma, has worked in retail banking management for 11 years.

Steven Palladino has been chosen as executive director for the North Bay iHub. The iHub is a collaborative effort of North Bay organizations supporting innovation and entrepreneurship. It is one of 16 such regional collectives designated by Gov. Jerry Brown's Office of Business and Economic Development.
