Adobe Canyon Road is closed near Moore Road on Friday afternoon after the top of a utility pole broke off and spilled wires across the roadway.
The CHP and fire authorities reported that the top of the pole sheared off, causing wires to fall on to the rural two-lane road. The CHP said Adobe Canyon would be restricted to one lane east of the 2100 block for at least an hour, and likely longer, as PG&E responds and assesses the damage.
