Clearlake police detective finds dead body, signs of break-in

An investigation is underway after a Clearlake police detective found a man's body Wednesday afternoon in a home on the 3900 block of Ladell Avenue.

Detective Travis Lenz found the body after noticing the house's door had been forced open.

Clearlake police said in a release the death appears to be suspicious.

No additional information was available Wednesday, and Clearlake police did not return a phone call seeking comment.
