Lake County sheriff's officials said detectives arrested two men Tuesday after they were discovered growing hundreds of marijuana plants in two homes in the county.
Ob Klyd Lowri, 28, of Nice and Connor William Rieves, 22, of Upper Lake admitted to detectives that they cultivated marijuana for profit, sheriff's officials said in a news release.
Investigators found 103 plants growing in greenhouses a home in Upper Lake along with 38 pounds of processed marijuana. They later discovered 545 plants at Lowri's residence in Nice, as well as nearly $31,000 in cash, packing supplies, concentrated cannabis, a handgun and four rifles.
Both men were booked into jail on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale, cultivating marijuana and conspiracy to commit a crime.
