Water issues will be a focus of the 19th annual Vineyard Economics Seminar on May 14 in Napa.
The program will feature discussions on the politics of water and managing water use. The list of presenters includes Karen Ross, secretary of the California Department of Food and Agriculture.
Other discussions will revolve around the grape and global bulk wine market, lending information for grape growers and the economics of mechanically harvested grapes with optical sorting.
Results of the 2014 Vineyard Economics Survey will be presented at the full-day event, which is at the Napa Valley Marriott Hotel. Tickets at www.WineSymposium.com.
