Santa Rosa police will be on the lookout for drunken drivers this Saturday night.

They'll be holding a DUI checkpoint to deter people from driving while drunk and catch those who are, Traffic Sgt. Mike Numainville said in a press release. They'll also be checking for unlicensed drivers.

He didn't say where the checkpoint will be. It will take place sometime between 8 p.m. Saturday and 3 a.m. Sunday.

The checkpoint is funded by a grant from the state Office of Traffic Safety.
