Before joining the newspaper, she worked as a sales manager at New Generation Media.

Previously, she worked as a retirement plan consultant and investment advisor with ClearPoint Financial, and served as a force status controller with the U.S. Air Force.

La Ventana has opened an outpatient eating disorder treatment center in Santa Rosa at 923 College Ave. The treatment team is led by Clinical Director Dr. Christine Pappas, president of the San Francisco Chapter of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals.
