Crash shuts westbound Highway 12 in Santa Rosa

Two big-rigs and a vehicle crashed on Highway 12 in Santa Rosa Thursday morning, forcing police to close the lanes to westbound traffic.

Highway 12 will be closed to westbound traffic at Brush Creek Road for about three hours, Santa Rosa police said at 12:30 p.m.

Westbound vehicles will have to turn around or be diverted onto Brush Creek Road while the wrecked trucks are cleared, Sgt. Lisa Banayat said.

The bulk of the wreckage is in the highway's westbound lanes west of Brush Creek Road, she said.

No injuries were reported as the two trucks collided and a vehicle became involved, Banayat said.
