Fire causes $30,000 damage to St. Helena home

A fire Tuesday morning burned part of a St. Helena home causing $30,000 in damage, Cal Fire said. The occupants made it out unharmed.

Crews from Cal Fire, Napa County Fire and St. Helena Fire responded to the blaze on Silverado Trail at 5:50 a.m., communications operator Michael Selmi said.

The fire was contained within three minutes after one room and its contents burned, Selmi said. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
