Three motorcycles missing from a Lakeport dealership appear to have been stolen from a locked yard, police officials said.

Employees at Hillside Honda on South Main Street discovered the bikes were missing during a morning inventory check and called police at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Lakeport police said.

Valued at $5,323, the Yamaha TTR50ED and two Honda CRF50FD had been stored in an enclosed and locked yard on the property.

It wasn't clear how long the motorcycles have been missing, but police suspect they were taken within the past week.

Anyone with information about the case can call Officer Gary Basor at 263-5491.
