Authorities release names of Napa County car crash victims

The Napa County Sheriff's Office on Monday released the names of two people who died in recent car crashes.

A 70-year-old woman who died Saturday night was identified as St. Helena resident Andrea Wolf, said sheriff's Capt. Tracey Stuart.

Wolf drove off Silverado Trail at about 7 p.m. Saturday, causing her Subaru to roll. The crash occurred near Oakville Cross Road north of Yountville.

An autopsy conducted Monday found Wolf died from multiple blunt impact injuries, Napa County Sheriff's Capt. Tracey Stuart said.

A man who died Aug. 4 in a fiery crash on Highway 29 near American Canyon was identified as George Herbert Hale III, 25, of Vallejo.

He died from severe burns, according to the autopsy. Coroner's officials didn't release Hale's name until his identity was confirmed through dental records.
