On the move

Mark Nelson has been hired as the Hugh Codding Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Sonoma State University. Nelson, the former president and COO of the Nelson Family of Companies, will work with faculty, students and community organizations on entrepreneurial initiatives.

Kim August has joined Summit State Bank as vice president and commercial loan officer. She has more than 25 years of banking experience in Sonoma County, serving as a vice president at Exchange Bank and Bank of Marin.

Harasyn Sipes has been promoted to director of Julie Nation Academy. She joined the Santa Rosa company in 2010 as assistant director and director of modeling.

Teresa Williams has joined the Frank Howard Allen office in Kenwood, where she is working as a team with longtime real estate agent Doug del Fava and Shannon Parker. Previously, Williams worked at Century 21 in Santa Rosa. She also owns Teresa Williams Properties, where she specializes in selling manufactured homes.

Bill Green has been named national sales director at Wilson Artisan Wineries. Previously, he worked as a sales executive with Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits, Kobrand Corporation and the E&J Gallo Winery.
