Mike Stalter has joined The Press Democrat as director of sales in the advertising department. Previously, he was director of digital sales for a group of newspapers and websites owned by Media General in Northern Virginia. Before that, he held several roles ranging from account executive to regional sales manager at newspapers in Pennsylvania and Virginia.

Peter Renfro has joined Westcoast Solar Energy as general manager of the Rohnert Park company. Previously, he was owner of PAR Consulting and co-founder and general manager of One Sun.

Northern California Medical Associates has added two new physicians.

Dr. Vishal Goyal, a specialist in cardiology, will work with NCMA's cardiovascular team at FountainGrove Cardiology.

Dr. Thomas Guyn, who specializes in internal medicine, joins the team at NCMA's Santa Rosa Internal Medicine office.

Molly Gallaher Flater has been appointed to the board of directors at First Community Bank. She is currently vice president of marketing and operations for Oakmont Senior Living.

Kathryn Kieffer has been named general manager of the Classic Party Rentals facility in Napa. She has more than 13 years of event experience, including managing party rental businesses in Charlottesville, Va., and Atlanta.

Pamela Layton, owner of Sincerely Yours, has moved her stationary and gift store to a larger location in Montgomery Village at 2402 Magowan Dr. in Santa Rosa.

Marilyn Chiotti has been named president of the Santa Rosa Symphony League, which raises money to support the symphony's music education programs and youth ensembles. She has been active in the group since 1995.

The Sonoma Humane Society has elected new officers to its board of directors: Evelyn Mitchell, president; Pam Ingalls, vice president; Shannon Vandewalle, treasurer; and Kathy Yerger, secretary. Other board members include Kati Aho, Darlene Brazil, Fredd Culbertson, Amy Loflin, Brian Neunzig, Marty Olhiser, Mark Penn, John Prouty and Bob Quail.
