Harbaugh declared himself a fan of the show "Judge Judy" for its value in telling the truth. "When you lie in Judge Judy's courtroom, it's over," Harbaugh said. "Your credibility is completely lost and you stand no chance of winning that case. So I learned that from her. It's very powerful and true. If somebody lies to you, how can you trust anything they ever say after that?"

Harbaugh also cited President Ronald Reagan's "trust but verify" slogan from the United States' 1980s negotiations with the Soviet Union.

Wide receiver Mario Manningham, who tore his left knee's anterior cruciate ligament Dec. 23, may not be ready for the start of training camp in five months, Harbaugh told 49ers.com.

Tight end Delanie Walker, a pending free agent, is a priority for the 49ers to re-sign to a long-term deal, Harbaugh told the Sacramento Bee.
