Highway 101 construction in the Petaluma area will cause several lane closures in the next few days, including some tonight.

Beginning at 11 p.m., one northbound lane of the highway will be closed at night from just north of the Sonoma County line to the Kenilworth pedestrian overcrossing. That lane will be closed overnights until 6 a.m. through Thursday.

At least one lane will remain open at all times.

Also, the northbound 101 on-ramp from Highway 116 will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Thursday.

And the northbound 101 off-ramp to Petaluma Boulevard South will be closed tonight and Wednesday night from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Caltrans plans to reopen the northbound 101 on-ramp from Petaluma Boulevard South on Thursday unless there are weather delays.
