Curry by the numbers

Curry couldn't win the game for the Warriors, but he won over the fans in Madison Square Garden with a 54-point performance Wednesday in Golden State's 109-105 loss to the New York Knicks.

How good was Curry?

He posted the highest individual point total in the NBA this season, surpassing the 52 Kevin Durant scored in an overtime win against Dallas in January.

His 54 points were the most scored by a Warrior since Purvis Short's 59 against the New Jersey Nets on Nov. 17, 1984.

Curry's 11 3-pointers were the most by one person in a game this season and one short of Kobe Bryant's all-time record.

Curry became the first Warriors player to have seven or more 3-pointers in three consecutive games.
