Santa Rosa police say officers seized drugs, a cache of firearms, and about $3,700 in cash after serving a search warrant Thursday afternoon on a home near West Third Street and Dutton Avenue.

Officers found half a pound of methamphetamine, three ounces of heroin and materials for packing the drugs, according to a department release. They also found two shotguns, three rifles, two handguns, and a variety of ammunition.

Four people were in the home and one was located in a vehicle nearby. Two were released without charges, but three were arrested and face a variety of drug and weapons charges, police said.

- Juan Guadalupe Paniagua-Ferreira, 40, of Santa Rosa was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

- Vanessa Sue Zamudio, 32, of Santa Rosa was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

The raid was part of an ongoing narcotics investigation, police said.
