Highway 12 crash near Kenwood backs up traffic

One-way traffic control was in effect on Highway 12 near Dunbar Road at 9 a.m. this morning after a Ford Expedition overturned about three times and landed on its roof.

The driver was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, a RedCom dispatcher said.

The accident was reported around 8:20 a.m., and rescue workers arrived just before 8:30 and had the driver out within seven minutes, the dispatcher said.

At one point, a fire was blocking the westbound lane, according to CHP reports. Two-way traffic resumed on Highway 12 at around 9:15 a.m.
