Sound and lighting equipment taken from a Sebastopol watering hole turned up in Santa Rosa on Wednesday when detectives searched a storage locker belonging to a man on probation, authorities said.

Robert Norsworthy Carroll, 47, of Santa Rosa was arrested at 4:12 p.m. Wednesday on suspicion of possessing the stolen property and committing a felony while out of custody on bail, Santa Rosa Police Sgt. Mike Lazzarini said.

Staff at the Hopmonk Tavern noticed the equipment was missing the morning of Feb. 20. Police last week arrested another Santa Rosa man, 22-year-old Troy Spencer Smith, on suspicion of burglary and grand theft after the public helped identify him in surveillance images posted on Facebook. Smith was already in jail on a different matter.

But the equipment, about $11,000 worth including a Yamaha LS9-32 channel sound mixing board and two lighting boards according to Sebastopol police, remained missing.

Carroll had been arrested March 7 on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine for sale after officers found drugs at his home off Calistoga Road, Lazzarini said.
