Authorities are investigating the stabbing of a man early Saturday on Fulton Road just outside Santa Rosa.
The victim was stabbed "multiple times" but none of his wounds was life-threatening, said Sonoma County Sheriff's Lt. Tim Duke. No further details about the victim were immediately available.
The incident appeared to be related to a large party held in the 3000 block of Fulton Road, near the intersection with River Road, Duke said.
Sheriff's deputies responded at 12:15 a.m. to reports of a large number of people loitering. The crowd was estimated at 150 to 200 people who had spilled from the party into the street, Duke said.
The victim attempted to drive himself to get medical aid but was stymied by a flat tire, Duke said. He was taken by ambulance to a hospital.
Six people were arrested but none on charges related to the stabbing incident, Duke said. The arrests were for resisting arrest, being drunk in public and violating probation.
