Two arrested in Santa Rosa prostitution sting

A Sacramento man suspected of bringing two women to Santa Rosa and forcing them into prostitution was arrested Sunday, Santa Rosa police officials said.

The investigation was prompted by a report of possible domestic violence at 12:30 p.m., Sgt. Terry Anderson said. Officers learned a woman was being forced into prostitution. Detectives organized a sting operation at a local hotel using information one of the women posted on the Internet, Anderson said.

During the operation, police arrested Glen Harris, 23, of Sacramento on suspicion of pimping and human trafficking, Anderson said.

Officers also arrested Jerome Martin, 25, of Sacramento on suspicion of aiding and abetting pimping and human trafficking, Anderson said.

A 27-year-old Sacramento woman was cited and released on suspicion of prostitution. The other woman wasn't arrested.
