Pile-driving on Highway 101 north of Petaluma to resume

Pile-driving work on the median at Old Redwood Highway and Highway 101 continues today, Caltrans said.

The work will then move to the southwest corner of the interchange, with hopes of finishing for this construction season by Monday.

Pile-driving will continue next year on the north side of the interchange. The piles are part of the foundation for a new bridge over Highway 101.

In general, pile-driving will take place from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., but could run later, Caltrans said. The work is weather-dependent.
