Three people were hurt in connection with a Saturday night party in Rohnert Park, authorities said.
The incident began with a report just before midnight of a party in the 7000 block of Bonita Avenue with more than 100 people in attendance, Rohnert Park police said.
By the time police arrived, the residents had cleared out most of the partygoers and said nothing about anything that had gone awry, police said.
But about 2? hours later, Rohnert Park dispatchers got a report from the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center emergency room in Santa Rosa: A man needed stitches after being cut, possibly at a party in Rohnert Park's B Section.
Then came a call from a Contra Costa County emergency room: A man was there reporting he'd been cut at a party in B Section.
A third call came at 4 a.m., from Kaiser's emergency room again: Another victim needed treatment for an apparent knife wound. The victim said he was a resident of the B Section home, police said.
That man later told officers that he did not know the suspect and had not invited him to the party.
An investigation continues, and detectives ask people with information to call 584-2600.
