Ukiah police are searching for a woman suspected of making a fraudulent cash withdrawal from a Santa Rosa woman's bank account March 22.
The unidentified woman was caught on surveillance video withdrawing $1,900 from a Ukiah bank, using the victim's identification and checking account number.
The Santa Rosa woman discovered the fraud when identification theft services contacted her to inform her credit inquiries had been made to establish accounts with Macy's, TJ Maxx and Sears, the Ukiah Police Department said. The victim then called her local bank and found out about the withdrawal.
Ukiah police began a theft investigation after the victim contacted them.
