Clearlake police Monday were searching for four men in a gold Cadillac as suspects in an early morning shooting.

Callers reported gunfire at about 12:45 a.m. Monday near 13th Street in the Clearlake Park area of town, Clearlake Police Sgt. Tim Hobbs said.

An officer found Craig Fenno, 25, lying in a driveway on the 3300-block of 12th Street with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to a leg, Hobbs said.

Fenno told police that four black men in a gold Cadillac pulled up to him as he walked on 12th Street. The front passenger fired multiple shots at Fenno and then the men drove away, Hobbs said.

Lake County Fire Protection District paramedics treated Fenno, who then was flown to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital where he was in stable condition late Monday, Hobbs said.

Anyone with information about the case can call Detective Travis Lenz at 994-8251 ext. 315.
