The life and craft of international winemaker Raphael Brisbois will be celebrated at a gathering and dinner Saturday, Oct. 26, in Geyserville.
The French-born Brisbois died from complications of cancer on Aug. 22. He was 62.
Renowned mostly for his sparkling wines, at the time of his death he lived in Santa Rosa and worked as director of winemaking at Rack & Riddle, the winery and custom crush facility in Hopland.
Rack & Riddle will host the celebration of his life, to start at 3 p.m. at Alexander Valley Hall, on Highway 128. A dinner will be served at 4 p.m.
