A Ukiah man who disappeared after taking the body of his 5-month-old son to a hospital Oct. 16 has yet to be located, police said.
"We would appreciate any help" finding him, Ukiah Police Chief Chris Dewey said Tuesday.
Casimir George Janusz, 36, of Ukiah, is believed to have driven to his family's rural property west of Hopland after leaving the hospital, police said.
His vehicle was found on the property, but he was nowhere to be found. A three-day multi-agency search that included aircraft proved fruitless.
The cause of the child's death has not yet been determined, Dewey said. There were no obvious injuries to the child, police said. Dewey said toxicology and other tests are pending.
Janusz's family has not responded to a request for an interview.
Police ask that anyone with information about Janusz contact the department at 463-6262.
