A veteran's wish

EDITOR: Veterans Day is a day to honor those who have fought and were wounded or died for our country and for us. It is fitting that we remember them not only on this day but on all days of the year.

As a veteran of World War II, I would like to ask that we do not make any more veterans. Period. I know, it will involve a change in the thinking of the whole human race, but the world as a whole must start working on this now.

We have to stop killing one another. A good place to start would be to get rid of all war items. There are more than 25,000 nuclear weapons now with more coming.
