San Rafael police arrested three suspects in a Terra Linda bank robbery at a Santa Rosa motel, authorities announced Saturday.

Alphonso Miguel Pazos, 56, of San Rafael was arrested at Palms Inn on Santa Rosa Avenue after he was identified through surveillance video and tracked to the motel.

The Citibank branch robbery was late Friday morning. Pazos and two alleged accomplices who were not identified were arrested at about 10 p.m. that night, said San Rafael Police Cpl. Justin Graham.

Graham said in a statement that police had the motel under surveillance when Pazos and the two alleged accomplices left in two vehicles. They were stopped and taken into custody, and both money and weapons were seized, he said.

Pazos is not suspected of being the serial robber who has struck nine Marin banks this year, in San Rafael, Mill Valley, Corte Madera, Greenbrae and San Anselmo.
