EDITOR: Congratulations to Honora Russell for her letter regarding the tragic death of Andy Lopez ("Irrelevant questions," Thursday). Too many respondents seem to want to blame the family or the victim himself, making prejudicial innuendos and judgments without any relevant facts. Many mistakes were made in this tragedy, the most tragic being the death of a 13-year-old boy who was committing no crime and should still be alive. The pending investigations may help us correct some of those errors, but they will not undo Andy's death.
