Five people went to jail Monday during an investigation into marijuana operations in Ukiah, reported the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office Tuesday.
On a Knoxville Road property deputies found 521 still-growing plants, plus 11 pounds of processed marijuana, reported Mendocino County sheriff's Lt. Greg Van Patten.
Deputies also found scales, packaging and paperwork indicating sales of marijuana, Van Patten said.
At a second, nearby location, deputies found almost 700 plants, $1,800 in cash and sales paraphernalia.
At the first location deputies arrested Carlton Lauckern, 29, Bradley Feucht, 32, and Mark Pacitti, 34, all of San Francisco.
Leslie Carr, 56 and Sarah Kubik, 33, both of Ukiah, were arrested at the second site.
The five were booked into the Mendocino County Jail, all arrested on suspicion of cultivating and selling marijuana.
Bail was set at $25,000 each.
Under state asset forfeiture laws, deputies took the cash and an excavator.
Deputies also suspect Feucht of having a small amount of psilocybin mushrooms and LSD, Van Patten said.
