Two hospitalized after fiery crash in Rohnert Park

Two people were taken to the hospital late Friday after a single-vehicle collision west of Rohnert Park left a car in flames.

The vehicle reportedly struck a pole at the intersection of Wilfred and Sunland avenues west of Stony Point Road.

Witnesses reported that the vehicle burst into flames and at least one person was trapped, according to emergency responders.

Two people were transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, one with life-threatening injuries.

No further information was available late Friday.
