Driver flees, leaves girlfriend hanging by seatbelt after Glen Ellen crash

Authorities were on the lookout Thursday night for a driver who crashed and rolled his pick-up near Glen Ellen before apparently fleeing the wreck with his girlfriend trapped inside.

Jon Holley, 24, of Santa Rosa was driving too fast on Warm Springs Road, near Wolf Run, when his westbound 2006 Nissan Frontier crossed into the opposite lane, crashed through a fence and rolled over, according to the Highway Patrol.

The vehicle hit a tree leaving Sada Washington, 23, trapped in the vehicle and hanging upside down, according to CHP Officer Marcus Hawkins.

"He climbed out of the truck," said Hawkins. "He fled on foot. Where we don't know."

Hawkins said the driver will be subject to a hit-and-run charge.

Washington was reportedly transported to Sonoma Valley Hospital with minor injuries.
