A Rohnert Park man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Monday afternoon after police say his pickup rearended a car causing a chain reaction crash at the southbound Highway 101 offramp at Wilfred Avenue in Rohnert Park.
At about 1 p.m., Gregory Midyett, 49, was driving his Ford F-350 on the offramp at approximately 40 miles per hour, CHP said, when he hit a Chevrolet Sonic stopped behind a line of traffic at a red light.
The force pushed the Chevrolet into the back of a Hyundai Azera, which rear-ended a Ford F-350, which hit a Toyota pickup.
Four people in the vehicles were taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, CHP said.
CHP officers said Midyett faces charges of felony DUI causing injury.
Two lanes were blocked on the offramp for approximately one hour.
