An injury crash shut down northbound lanes of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco on Friday morning, though it appeared some motorists were squeaking through around emergency vehicles, the CHP said.

All northbound lanes were shut down for a period of time after the 10:19 a.m. crash at mid-span, but most of the wreckage was in two lanes, the CHP said.

Eventually, only one lane remained closed and was expected to be reopened shortly after 10:40 a.m., the CHP said.
